Most attacks on small businesses aren't sophisticated: a fake invoice from “your” email, an expired domain, an outdated plugin. These are the gaps it finds, and most are quick to fix.

How we grade
Most local small businesses we've checked score a C or D.
- A90–100Strong. Just a few small things to keep an eye on.
- B80–89Good, with a few gaps worth closing.
- C70–79Fair. Some real gaps, and most are easy to fix.
- D60–69Needs attention. A few fixes would make a big difference.
- Funder 60At risk. Several basics are missing, but most are quick to fix.
Safe to run
It only looks at what any web browser or email server can already see. It visits a handful of your public pages the way an ordinary visitor would, and it never logs in, never fills in forms and never tries to break in.
