Microsoft 365 Backup for Springfield & Kansas City Businesses
Microsoft keeps Microsoft 365 running, but keeping your data safe from deletion, mistakes and ransomware is up to you. On business accounts, a deleted OneDrive file sits in the recycle bin for 93 days, then it's gone for good. A file scrambled by ransomware syncs over the good copy everywhere it's saved.
We back up your Outlook email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams to a separate, encrypted copy that can't be altered once it's written, several times a day. When something goes missing, we bring back exactly what you need: one email, one folder or a whole mailbox.
Sound familiar?
- Someone deleted a folder in SharePoint and nobody noticed for months
- An employee left, their mailbox was removed, and now a customer is asking about an old email
- You've heard about ransomware encrypting OneDrive files and wonder what would happen to yours
- You assumed Microsoft backs everything up for you
- A client or insurer asked how your email and files are backed up
What we do
- Outlook email, calendars and contacts backed up several times a day
- OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams files backed up on a regular schedule
- Backups encrypted, and kept separate from your Microsoft 365 account so they can't be altered
- Restores of a single email, a file, a folder or a whole mailbox
- Leavers' mailboxes and files kept after their account is closed, for as long as you need them
- Backup status in your monthly report
These are examples of what we do, not the limit of it.
How we start
- 1
We look at your Microsoft 365 tenant: mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint sites and Teams, and who has admin access.
- 2
We connect the backup, choose how long to keep things with you, and run a test restore so you see it work.
- 3
We check the backups every month and restore whatever you need, whenever you need it.
Questions
Doesn't Microsoft back up Microsoft 365?
Microsoft protects its own service from going down. Recovering things your people delete, overwrite or lose to ransomware is mostly up to you. The recycle bins help, but only for a limited time, and they're inside the same account as the problem.
How long does OneDrive keep deleted files?
On business accounts, deleted files stay in the recycle bin for 93 days unless your administrator has changed it. After that they're gone. A backup keeps them for as long as you decide.
What happens to a leaver's email and files?
Once their account is removed, Microsoft deletes their data after a short time. With a backup, their mailbox and files are kept, so you can still find that old message or document.
Can you restore just one email?
Yes. We can bring back a single email, a folder, a file or a whole mailbox, back to where it was.
